- You can use it in Europe. However, depending on the country, it might
- have problems recognizing the call progress signals used there. Also,
- the modem is not approved for use in the various European countries and
- connecting it to the PSTN there is usually illegal.

- If you travel between countries you either need a stack of modems, one
- for each country, or you simply use one modem, and live with some small
- discomforts like lack of busy recognition and the knowledge that you are
- breaking laws.
